What should I bring to the hammam?
You’re welcome to bring your own towels, flip-flops, and shower gel. You may also bathe in a swimsuit or wrapped in a towel if that is more comfortable for you. If you prefer not to carry your own items, we offer a towel package or individual items for rental or purchase at reception.
Do I need a reservation?
Für Behandlungen, wie das Peeling, Massagen oder Kosmetik ist es ratsam, einige Tage im voraus einen Termin zu vereinbaren. Bitte rufen Sie uns hierfür unter 030 / 21 75 33 75 an. Terminvereinbarungen können Sie zu unseren Öffnungszeiten telefonisch oder per Mail machen. Bei Gruppen ab 5 Personen bitten wir um eine Reservierung, auch wenn Sie keine Behandlungen wünschen.
What should I keep in mind during treatments?
We kindly ask you to wear at least swimwear (e.g. trunks or bikini bottoms) during any treatment.
Please inform us at check-in if you suffer from any skin conditions or have health concerns that we should take into account — we’ll adapt your experience accordingly.
Who will perform my massage?
On women-only days (Tuesday, Wednesday morning Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday), all treatments are carried out exclusively by female staff. On mixed evenings (Wednesday evening), both female and male therapists are available.
I’ve never been to a hammam — what do I need to know?
Don’t worry — we’ll guide you step by step! All first-time visitors receive a full introduction to the hammam ritual by our staff, so you can relax and enjoy your experience without any prior knowledge.
Can I buy gift vouchers?
Yes — all of our services are available as gift vouchers, beautifully presented in an oriental-style card. You may purchase them on-site during opening hours, or conveniently order them online.
Wann darf ich nicht ins Hamam kommen?
Mit einer Ekältung oder einem viralen Effekt möchten wir Sie bitten nicht ins Hamam zu kommen. Schwangeren wird vom Besuch des Hamams ebenfalls abgeraten, weshalb wir im Sultan Hamam leider keine schwangeren Gäste empfangen können.
Ist das Sultan Hamam barrierefrei?
Leider ist das Sultan Hamam Berlin nicht barrierefrei,weshalb der Zugang für Menschen mit bestimmten Einschränkungen schwierig sein kann.
Gehbehinderten Kund*innen können wir leider keinen sicheren Zugang zu unseren Räumlichkeiten ermöglichen.
